THE ROLE The primary purpose of the Preservation Technician – E&I is to typically work as part of a small team performing well defined tasks where there is a specific objective and outcome. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the quality of E&I materials supplied from the warehouses are fit for purpose.

Specific Responsibilities: Execute a day-to-day maintenance activity as assigned from end-to-end basis to enable high equipment reliability and plant availability.Update maintenance records, and prepare relevant reportsAccountable to perform assigned critical activities as per process safety requirementsDrive high standard of personal accountability and performance to deliver the site and department goals and targetEnsure strict compliance with company safety policies and proceduresCommunicate verbally in writing to operators, employees, supervisors and others regarding the identification of problems with productivityPerform required production quality control check and analysisPerform preventative maintenance and assist in troubleshooting of potential issuesContribute to keeping process materials records and maintain good housekeeping practicesKeep log records of operational activities for optimal and thorough handover to other shiftsUnderstand and perform physical inventoriesSafe work attitude and practical knowledge of industrial safety standardsQualifications and Experience: Mandatory requirements:
Relevant trade experience and qualificationsHigh Risk Licence in Forklift (up to 16 T blade fork)Ability to work well within a small team environmentAdvanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolutionAbility to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environmentRigger and/or Dogman LicenceWorking at heights trainingEnclosed space entry trainingOil spill response trainingWaste management experience and qualificationsDangerous Goods handling experience and qualificationsKnowledge with material management programs (e.g. Maximo / SAP)Why QUBE?
