About Your Next Opportunity Applications are invited for the full-time position of Assistant Manager to the Preanalytical SRA Manager. This is a full-time role based at Bowen Hills. Reporting to the Preanalytical SRA Manager, the Assistant Preanalytical SRA Manager is to provide support to the Manager, and the Preanalytical team, to successfully deliver required business outcomes.
Responsibilities of the position include: Assisting the Preanalytical SRA Manager in hiring, training and coaching and ensuring Sonic Core Values are being maintained. Coordinate job advertisements and triage applications, conduct phone interviews and lab tours, and assist in physical interviews with potential staff. Collate and participate in annual staff reviews and ad-hoc performance meetings. Ensuring the effective implementation of any new procedures from other departments into the workflow of SRA. Work collaboratively with regional and department Managers to ensure all customer concerns and complaints are responded to and actioned within acceptable time frames. Participate in interdepartmental working groups and assist with other tasks or projects. Assisting the management team in identifying trends and ensuring representatives are achieving desired service levels and taking corrective action, as needed. Preparing reports and analysing data to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated and maximise efficiency and client satisfaction. Support the Apollo Testing program and development of Apollo IT solutions in the Preanalytical Department. Provide cover for Preanalytical leadership roles as required. Participate in leadership team-building activities. As the Bowen Hills Preanalytical SRA Department operates between 07:30 and 00:00 Monday to Friday 08:30 to 23:00 on Saturday, and 10:00 - 20:00 on Sunday, the successful applicant will be flexible regarding the timing of hours worked throughout the fortnight.
About You The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years experience at a Supervisory level/relevant HR experience, relevant tertiary qualifications and be able to demonstrate the following:
