A Pre-Plan Funeral Consultant assists their clients in pre-planning their funeral needs ahead of time, helping them achieve both peace of mind and the potential for significant savings.The Pre-Need Funeral Consultant will be responsible for:Meeting and building strong relationships with clients, providing advice and guidance on the range of options available to pre-plan their funeral.Proactively source new client leads by building relationships with suitable partner businesses and the broader community.Prepare quotations and pre-plan funeral contracts for your clients.Meet monthly activity and sales targets, working as part of a successful team.Accurately hand over signed contracts to our fund office team for processing.Remain responsible for administrative elements of the Pre-Plan Funeral Consultant role, including managing lead tracking, updating pre-plan arrangement details on our internal systems, and finalising contracts/correspondence with clients.Represent the Guardian Plan brand at networking and public relations events as required.Skills, experience and characteristics required for this role include:Strong customer service skills with a "can do" attitude combined with the ability to be empathetic and compassionate through difficult and emotional conversations.Effective communicator, particularly when discussing highly emotive topics such as death.Proven sales and business development experience.Demonstrated networking skills with the ability to proactively identify new opportunities.Competent in the use of computers, MS Office, and customer management systems.Strong administrative/contract skills with a focus on process and detail.Unrestricted driver's license.A passion to make a difference in your community.Benefits of joining InvoCare:You may not have considered this industry before, but we provide vital services to families to assist them in celebrating the lives of their loved ones in a way that they would have wanted.
