An exciting six-month opportunity is available to contribute to the important work of the Student Support Services team in Barwon.
You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative Student Support Services (SSS) team in supporting schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.

About the DivisionSchools and Regional Services comprises 17 Areas within four regions across the state, as well as 5 central Divisions. The responsibilities of Regional Services include:
Service delivery including performance, contract management, funding delivery and acquittalProgram implementation including detailed implementation planning and deliveryLocal area engagement, advice, support and partnershipsWorkforce capability development, professional practice leadership and deliveryEmergency management including critical incident response.The Area-based regional operating model is designed to:
Provide greater responsiveness, innovation and joined-up responses to local needsEnable a focus on place as an organising structure for schools and other servicesEnable regional staff to engage more effectively with our service providers, schools, students and learners, families and local communities, and to understand what they needFacilitate better relationships and collaborative networks that more effectively support learners to move more seamlessly through our education system and beyondEnable complex issues to be addressed through more targeted, integrated and coordinated responses.About the RoleSSS comprise a broad range of Allied Health professions including psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers and occupational therapists.
