Make your mark providing tailored support based on the needs of children & families Make it work with internationally recognised training and weekly supervision Make a move and develop skills that will set you up for career success Your role: FFT-CW is an evidenced based model of behaviour change, that is therapeutically focussed, which aims to provide all family members with skills and knowledge to improve family communication, parenting skills and conflict management.
The aim of the program being to improve family communication and dynamics, creating positive and nurturing family environments for children and young people who are at risk of being placed in Out of Home Care.
FFT-CW focusses on preventing family breakdown by interrupting negative patterns of behaviour that can lead to escalations within family units.
Make Your Mark. Working with families, in an outreach capacity, in home sessions. Working with families with complex needs, including trauma, mental health, AOD, and family violence. Use your positive, strength based communication skills to rapidly build relationships and rapport with families. Reduce conflict and to increase hope within family environments. Identify how family interactions can affect behaviour. Recognise and engage with family's formal and informal support networks. With our commitment to continual improvement and learning through training and supervision. Qualifications: A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, and/or a related degree in behavioural sciences OR applicants with Diploma of Community Services may be considered if they also are able to demonstrate significant experience levels working with families.
Make A Move: A salary at SCHCADS level 6 which equates to around $106,387 plus super. This is senior level salary offering excellent remuneration. Intensive supervision, feedback and training in Functional Family Therapy. Based at our office in Bendigo. Fixed term contract to September 2025 covering parental leave.
