Are you an experienced Practice Nurse looking for flexibility and a rewarding role in a dynamic healthcare setting? We are seeking a dedicated Locum Practice Nurse to join our team for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for a longer-term contract. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care, including wound management, immunisations, chronic disease management, and health screenings. Support GP-led clinics, including management of long-term conditions (e.g., predominantly diabetes, asthma, hypertension). Administer vaccinations and injections. Deliver health promotion and education to patients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements: Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential) Prior experience working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care or GP setting. Diploma in diabetes. Skills in chronic disease management, immunisations, and wound care. Cervical cytology and vaccination certification. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
