Peter Street Medical Centre is seeking a Full Time Practice Manager. Peter Street Medical Centre has a well established team who have been providing excellent and personalised care for patients. We are a teaching practice and are always open to innovative service models to further enhance our care.

About the role:
We are looking for a Practice Manager, ideally with experience in running a General Practice, to further support the Team. The role will oversee administration, nursing, assist our doctors and allied health as well as be the communication link to the Family Doctor Support Office Team. You will be responsible for dealing with all day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional Medical Centre.
Tasks and responsibilities include: Manage the reception team workflow, lead and support them to manage patient appointments, greet clients, take re-bookings and paymentsDebt CollectionsMaintenance and securityPrivacy and quality controls of patient files and notesEngagement and management of third partiesSupport Management team with reporting and ad hoc tasksCreate and support a harmonious, cheerful and engaging practice environmentAbout you: Prior experience in medical practice managementDemonstrated people management skillsExperience with recruitment, staff training and developmentThorough understanding of financial management of a medical business, including Medicare rebatesExperience with Best Practice (advantageous)Experience in General Practice AccreditationWe are GP owned and family orientated network of practices.
