We are seeking a Practice Manager for our newly established, state-of-the-art Medical Center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow with a new business, help shape the business by defining processes and procedure, and benefit from extensive hands-on training. 

Your role will encompass not only operational efficiency but also a commitment to providing exceptional support to our medical professionals and staff. You will be the centre of knowledge for our team, one of our Senior receptionists/Practice Managers. The caring and compassionate nature of our practice starts with you, as the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their experience with us.  

The successful applicant will be responsible for handling all day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional medical centre as well as all aspects of employee management including development, performance management and centre budgeting.
What your day will look like: Assisting our lead doctor with operational excellenceOverseeing day-to-day practice operationsCarrying inductions and in-house training sessions for new staffOverseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking new clients and rescheduling appointments)Managing clinic operations and addressing doctor queries with a solution-focused approach Requirements: Proven leadership and management experienceStrong interpersonal, organisational and time management skillsCommitment to exceptional customer service and patient careExperienced in workforce recruitment, rostering, training & developmentExceptional verbal and written communication skills.Experience in managing nursing and administration staff (preferred but not essential.Compliance with industry regulations and standards. Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings.Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow.A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice.Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.Minimum of 2 years as practice manager or similar experience
