Office Management (Administration & Office Support) Full time My specialist practice client presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join their clinic based near Norwood. It is essential you have strong leadership skills and experience managing a medical practice. Ideally, you will have the ability to provide strategic direction to oversee the daily business operations of the practice and demonstrate leadership to the high-performing team to provide the best experience for their patients.
The Responsibilities Include:Maintaining and improving practice procedures and systems for efficacy and overall patient experienceProviding leadership support and direction for a team of reception and medical staffProviding rostering and assistance to the Reception team to ensure coverage at all times with the ability to handle any difficult patient enquiries or issues in a professional mannerManaging the recruitment process and training of new team membersProviding professional and competent support to the specialists and allied health professionals, including management of scheduling, appointments and billingsDriving business growth and ensuring ongoing financial control with consideration for profitability growthManaging Practice billings and liaising with Medicare and Private Health contacts when requiredIdentifying any areas of improvement to drive operational efficiencyEnsuring compliance with healthcare regulations and office policiesOverseeing office inventory and the ordering of medical and office suppliesMaintaining a positive working environment by being approachable and promptly addressing any issues that may arise within the teamConducting regular staff meetings and performance reviews as needed in conjunction with Practice DirectorsIdeally You Will Have:A focus on patient care and providing a personalised service to patients and familiesA warm, friendly, respectful and professional manner to ensure the best patient experience at all timesStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support staff as neededThe ability to work autonomously and efficientlyExperience with booking theatre lists with the ability to assist the specialists with minor proceduresThe ability to coordinate the Practice administrationThe ability to multitask with excellent administrative skills and be highly organisedMotivation to drive new initiatives and efficient processesProficient experience in the use of IT and communication systemsExperience in Gentu and an accounting package, Xero will be highly regardedA minimum of 2 years experience managing a private medical practice (preferably a surgical practice)If you're interested in this exciting opportunity and meet the requirements, please click 'apply now' to apply online.
