South Terrace Urology's surgeons possess an extensive range of skills, capitalising on the subspecialty expertise within the group. One of the leading Urology practices in South Australia, South Terrace Urology has been in operation since the 1960's. The expertise of our surgeons and their ongoing commitment to research and education ensures the highest standard of Urological assessment and surgery. We work with the latest technology to provide patients with a high standard of modern, individualized clinical care. Currently we are looking to appoint the key role of Practice Manager.
This role will have a strong operational focus supporting the Practice Partners and will have responsibility for the implementation of and oversight of staff management systems, processes; and ensuring that the business Practices are efficient and progressive. Managing a dedicated team of 20 staff across customer service, nursing and business support, this role will have key areas of responsibility that include:
Human Resources
Provide progressive supportive leadership to our team that is consistent with our core values of providing patients with a high standard of modern, individualised clinical care and always being there to help.
Development and maintenance of contemporary human resources systems to promote the development of staff and ensure that relevant legislative requirements regarding employment are met.
Business Improvement Initiatives
In consultation with the Partners, ensure that strategic and business planning is effectively undertaken, implemented, monitored, and reviewed.
Financial Performance
Preparation of annual budgets and monitoring of the Practice's performance against the budget.
Providing periodical reports and analysis of financial performance to Partners.
Information Technology
Evaluate and make recommendations to Partners regarding hardware, software, and system requirements.
Quality & Risk Management
Ensure that the Practice complies with relevant Standards, and that processes and systems are continually developed.
Ideally suiting an individual who enjoys working in a role with a strong operational and people management focus, this role will see the successful candidate empowered to make suggestions and solve problems with the goal to continue to build upon its reputation for providing outstanding patient-centered health care for all our patients. Applicants offering experience in leadership roles within Practice Management across Specialist Rooms, GP settings, or Professional Services environments are all equally encouraged. Applicants with an extensive background in HR and People Management will also be highly regarded.
Offered as a permanent full-time role based at our recently refurbished South Terrace Consulting rooms in the CBD, this onsite position will ideally be structured across a Monday to Friday roster and resourced with strong internal support staff and outsourced advisory support.
