As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate and friendly Practice Manager to help us manage the day-to-day operations and keep everything running smoothly.
The Role:
As our Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in the heart of our practice. You'll manage the daily operations, support our wonderful team, and ensure that everything runs efficiently. You'll also work closely with our patients, making sure their experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. What You'll Do: Oversee the daily operations of the practice and ensure things run smoothly.Manage and support a small, friendly team of staff.Handle Medicare billing and private billing, ensuring accuracy.Be the first point of contact for patients, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues with care.Maintain patient records and ensure everything is confidential.Ensure we're complying with all healthcare regulations and privacy laws.Keep track of office supplies, manage inventory, and handle finances.Prepare the practice for accreditation including developing, updating and implementing policy and procedures.Help with recruitment, training, and supporting staff to make sure they feel happy and valued.What We're Looking For: Experience in management or healthcare administration.Familiarity with the Australian healthcare system, Medicare, and billing processes.Strong organisational and leadership skills with a friendly, approachable manner.Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.Experience with practice management software (Best Practice Premier), XERO and Microsoft Office or high competence in learning new systems.A qualification in healthcare management or a related field would be a bonus.Ideally you will be available 4-5 days per week.Higher salary negotiated for individuals with clinical qualifications.
