ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager with a strong healthcare background, to join our Karratha Clinic, WA, on a Full-Time Max-Term (12-months) basis, working approximately 38 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours required. In this important position, you will play a critical role in growing the clinic as well as leading and managing its day-to-day operations.

DUTIES

Reporting directly to the Business Manager, your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:


The overall management of the practice, ensuring it operates smoothly on a daily basis
Coordinating / liaising with doctors
Monitoring accounts, budgets and finance management as well as information technology
Human resources; training, mentoring and management of administration and nursing staff
Providing a high level of assistance and communication to patients
Business Development and promotion of the clinic focusing on Occupational Health services

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years' similar experience within the medical industry, preferably within General Practice or Occupational Health environment. Experience in leading teams, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Experience using Medical Software is highly desirable, however is not essential as training will be provided.

Ability to engage, motivate and manage staff to achieve desired business outcomes
Good computer skills
A strong commitment to customer service
