Practice Manager - Broome Urgent Care Clinic Broome Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) is seeking an experienced and full time Practice Manager to assist in the growth and development of our practice.

About Us Broome Urgent Care Clinic offers acute, episodic care and treatment for conditions that need urgent, but not life-threatening care.
It is a walk-in, bulk billing clinic.
We are open 7 days per week 8am - 4pm.
Our clinic is co located with our accredited private practice Kimberley Medical Group.
You will be working in a collaborative management team with an Assistant Practice Manager and Nurse Manager.
The position requires the following: The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Previous experience in General Practice Management or high-level administration An understanding of medical terminology, medical and allied health professional organisations and relevant stakeholders The ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships Previous experience in the use of medical based practice software, preferably Best Practice.
Experience in financial management, accounting systems and reporting processes in Xero.
Experience in payroll systems and legislated employment conditions A detailed understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule and liaising with Medicare An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting in the establishment and operations of the Broome Urgent Care Clinic.
Manage Medical and Administration team Coordinate staff employment and rosters including annual leave cover Arrange when necessary, locum cover for clinical staff Liaise with Director of the company Conduct regular staff appraisals Maintain accurate financial records and provide accurate financial reports Coordinate accounts receivable and payable Lead practice risk management and quality improvement processes Liaise with other medical and allied health services in Broome and the Kimberley region on behalf of the practice and assist with developing positive relationships with these services Development and maintenance of suite of practice policies and procedures If you would like to be part of this exciting opportunity, please apply to this advertisement.
