The role As an integral part of the team, this role involves providing support to our R&I Partner based in our Melbourne office, and his wider team.
As an experienced support professional, you will manage the administrative responsibilities and utilise your expertise in billing processes to ensure seamless support to the R&I practice, within a supportive and collegiate environment.
Key responsibilities Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support Diary management including organising client meetings and facilitating travel arrangements Assist with the preparation and processing of pre-bills and accounts on a monthly basis, and client reporting requirements File management and handling including opening and closing matters Undertaking conflict searches on firm data base and preparing conflict emails Attending to accounts enquiries and receiving funds with a focus on professionalism and efficiency Manage general accounts, reporting, monthly billing, and expenses Team player, willing to step in and assist and take initiative to assist in the smooth operation of the practice Skills & Experience To excel in this high-level role, you need: Proven and distinguished experience in a legal administrative, secretarial role Experience in billing processing, ideally with experience using Aderant Expert A flexible approach with a demonstrable drive to contribute to the business's profound success The ability to build and nurture positive relationships with colleagues Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, especially in high-pressure situations Advanced technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with meticulous attention to detail This position represents a unique opportunity for an accomplished professional to elevate their career in a challenging, rewarding, collegiate and supportive environment.
