Postdoc In Rna Biology

A 2 year funded postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated scientist in the field of RNA biology at Neurotranscriptomics Laboratory within the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney.
Our work focuses on the role of alternative splicing, and other post-transcriptional mechanisms, in expanding gene and protein function.
We tackle these areas of interest using a multidisciplinary approach combining biochemistry, molecular biology, high-resolution microscopy, genomics and bioinformatics.

Requirements for Postdoc:For the present project, we are looking for a highly motivated postdoc interested in RNA biology with a strong background in biochemistry and molecular biology, and ideally prior experience in RNA imaging.
The postdoc should be happy to work in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
Candidates should have a doctoral degree and a strong research background.
