Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced Behavior Support Practitioner to join our team in the Perth Metro North to lead the team both operationally and clinically. Be part of an organization that cares for its employees the same way we do for our participants.
As an experienced PBS practitioner, some of your responsibilities will include:
Supporting our PBS Clinical Lead and leadership team to ensure high standards of work are delivered in accordance with legislative requirements. Mentoring and working collaboratively with members of a multi-disciplinary team. Assisting participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through a person-centered approach in a community-based setting. Developing and delivering behavior support services in accordance with the NDIS safeguards framework, particularly regarding restrictive practices. Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life. Qualifications Essential Criteria A minimum of 3 years in the development and implementation of Positive Behavior Support. Relevant qualification in allied health or social care and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body. Eligibility to be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Proficient or Advanced PBS Practitioner. Experience delivering services under the NDIS. A passion for being a leader in their field and delivering quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. A driver's license and full access to a vehicle. A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one). Desirable Criteria Registration with the relevant professional body.
