Clough has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer with a solid background in Engineering Design to join our Inhouse Engineering Team in Perth! In this role, you will effectively be responsible for technical design deliverables working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost effective and fit for purpose engineering and design output complying with company requirements.

Your focus will include: Deputises for the Chief "Discipline" Engineer as required Delivery of technically acceptable engineering design services for approved work to ensure the development of high levels of client satisfaction and Clough's business needs Work with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance, technical integrity of design (technical performance) Prepare, check and file design information including documents and data from suppliers and other disciplines Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division Manage customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes Liaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and potential changes What you will bring to the team: Extensive experience in Technical Design within engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in one or more of the following sectors – Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals and Infrastructure / Utilities Minimum 12 years relevant, post graduate engineering experience and having fulfilled requirements in the discipline competency matrix Good knowledge of local and international Codes and Standards Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is preferred Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferred Clough's people enjoy: A competitive remuneration package Flexible and remote work options to manage work and lifestyle commitments Exposure to a range of iconic projects and industries Ongoing training for career progression Industry leading paid parental leave program from the day you join Excellent end of trip facilities and free gym onsite Mental health and wellbeing programs Employee assistance program for employees and their families Special offers on private health insurance, salary packaging, banking, travel, groceries and more Salary continuance insurance (criteria applies) A supportive team culture and environment We're building a diverse workforce We are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities in which we work and live, fostering an inclusive environment that accepts every person, embraces their strengths and differences, and provides opportunities for all to achieve their full potential.
