About usProviding various specialist therapy services, working directly with the community, schools, and various departments. We are NDIS registered, and specific to this role, Positive Behavior Support Early Intervention service is provided to participants under their NDIS plans. We deliver PBS services throughout Perth metro, regional, and other remote cities and towns across Western Australia.
Offices are in Osborne Park and Canning Vale; this position will be based in Canning Vale.
There are opportunities to support remote clients DIDO/FIFO, these arrangements are subject to suitability and availability. This role requires a commitment to regular travel, once a month for 5-10 days dependent on case load.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
Professional development opportunities are available, and growth with the business is encouraged.
Working from home for agreed times can be discussed. However, a good face-to-face team and support environment is not negotiable.
Qualifications & experienceRelevant Qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioral Science. Board certified Behavior Analyst or over 2 years experience in delivering Positive Behavior Support.Demonstrated experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviours.Working with Children's card, National police clearance, and current driving license.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.Core $90,000 - 100,000
Advanced $100,000 - 125,000
Tasks & responsibilitiesComplete indirect and direct assessment including observations and data collection and collate the data for the development of behavior support plans and functional behavioral assessment.Support NDIS participants with disability, their carers, family, and significant others. Provide training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in the behavior support plans, which may involve fade out plans for restrictive practices.Support the participant to meet their person-centered goals.Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to lead a team and support other core practitioners.Mobile phone and laptop provided.Career progression and professional development opportunities.Flexible working conditions (upon discussion and agreement).Financial bonuses monthly and annually.Quarterly social events.Salary sacrifice vehicle.Numerous other benefits.LocationPerth, WA
