THE ROLE At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do.
As a Point-of-Sale (POS) Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing point-of-sale operations.
Your mission is to lead by example and guide your point-of-sale team to provide JD Sports customers with a fast and efficient shopping experience, and a lasting positive connection to our brand.
As a POS Supervisor, you will also be responsible for the following:
Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service to every customer, every timeProcessing sales including refunds and exchanges as the lead POS operatorBe the first point of contact for customer queries via phoneEnsure compliance to all transactions and cash handling proceduresSupport the management team by training & coaching POS team on process and customer service deliverySupport the store management team to achieve sales budget and targets.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Minimum 2 years' experience within retail or like industryYou are passionate about creating an amazing service experience for our customersCash-handling and tender management experience preferredAbility to make decisions and work well in a fast-paced environmentYou have a proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPI'sStrong communication skills, able to communicate effectively and professionallyYou have excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely mannerWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
