Commercial Portfolio product's serve all segments of Commercial Insurance and are made up of Construction, Engineering, Liability, Commercial Fleet, Property, Surety and Professional & Financial Lines (Profin). These products are distributed via Brokers through the Vero brand. The purpose of this role is to act as a support to the Senior Program Delivery Specialist across both Short & Long Tail (Tailored Lines) Portfolios.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Providing support to the Short & Long Tail Portfolio Teams to meet risk and regulatory obligations (including monitoring and record keeping)Support the Senior Program Delivery Specialist on Risk & Compliance, Internal Audits and Standard & Framework compliance, updates and reviewsAdvise Portfolio Managers on interpretation of existing Standards and FrameworksBuild connections across the wider Commercial Portfolio teamProvide advice, monitor and maintain compliance on existing and new IRIIS matters Skills & Experience: Experience working in General Insurance, specifically Short & Long Tail Commercial ProductsExperience working with and understanding Risk Control and managementAn ability to respond to the commercial environment and to apply sound commercial decision making in accordance with any delegated authorityAn ability to deal with non-complex issues, build relationships at all levels, and, negotiate with and influence internal stakeholdersIndustry and product knowledge of Commercial Insurance Products or legal Insurance experienceExperience in working with company guidelines, functional procedures, policy management systems including underwriting principles, products and policy wordings are desirable.
