We also have a strong focus on gender balance within the organisation and encourage women to apply.About your new roleKey responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:Lead the development, prioritisation and timing of Icon Water's 0 – 10 year Investment Plan.Lead the development of an indicative 10-20 year Investment Plan.Lead the Portfolio Prioritisation Team (PPT) forum, including managing the prioritisation framework, with support from the Integrated Program Management Office (IPMO) to ensure the effective prioritisation and assessment of projects at initiation phase stage gates.Lead the development, review and approval of Icon Water's capital program annual budgets and 5 year regulatory pricing submissions.Contribute to the development of Asset Management Plans and other strategic plans by providing information from the 10 year program of work.Contribute to the Pricing Improvement Roadmap by leading key initiatives relevant to this role and function.Assign responsible project sponsors delegates from across the business to proposed investment projects.Liaise with Project teams and Manager Infrastructure Delivery to align on project timelines, scoping and resources in readiness for efficient and effective handover to delivery teams.Build and maintain relationships both internal and external to ensure achievement of the capital works program.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Portfolio Planning team processes and touch points with key stakeholders to leverage opportunities relating to improved efficiency and quality of portfolio outcomes.Other duties within the employee's skill, competence and training.Our ideal candidate will possess:Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management.Certified Practising Project Manager or equivalent qualification, and/or significant experience in coordination of capital works programs.Extensive experience (over 5 years) in similar roles and proven knowledge of project management methodologies in line with the project management body of knowledge (PMBOK).Demonstrated experience in portfolio and program planning and prioritisation, preferably in the water or wastewater industry.Knowledge of design and construction project management best practice.Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Project Professional and SharePoint.Skills that demonstrate attention to detail, a strategic mindset, and strong communication skills, adapting their style for different audiences. They will be able to build effective relationships, manage tasks and projects efficiently, and ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
