Our client is currently seeking an APS6 Project Officer to join the team within a Federal Government agency based in the Adelaide CBD.The Service Design Division works with impacted stakeholders to design and deliver Scheme improvements that deliver quality participant outcomes and enhance their agency experience.The Service Design Division works on process, platform, and practice solutions to address Agency priorities.The Division embeds co-design and a stakeholder view of change into our ways of working, ensuring that our designs represent the greatest value to different audiences.In line with the Participant Service Charter principles, the Division drives transparency into Agency decision-making through the consistency of the processes we design, the written guidance and communication.As these are Federal Government opportunities, Australian Citizenship is mandatory.About the RoleThe APS6 Project Officer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.The position is a team leadership position within the scheme and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities.It will be required to provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership within the positions assigned work area.The APS6 Project Officer (Labour Hire) will be required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the agency's objectives.Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management.Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits.Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.About youYou will present with a high level of personal resilience and the ability to deal with emotional and challenging customer circumstances information.Co-creating and documenting current state service through design and research, to identify current participant and staff experience and business processes.Co-creating and co-facilitating process design improvements.Advocating for the voice and experience of participants and stakeholders through work processes.Co-facilitating design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channels, and experiences.Applying in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the agency and the related impacts across work areas.Overseeing end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service Standard, ensuring changes are based on participant and staff needs and are consistent for all users across different touchpoints.Contributing to the evaluation of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level.Assisting management with the use of system tools and other duties as required.An understanding of or lived
