An exciting opportunity is available for a proactive and experienced Project/Portfolio Coordinator to bring their project reporting and governance skills to support and improve Portfolio delivery at RAC.
As a Portfolio Coordinator, you will assist in the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent projects and initiatives at RAC.
You will provide portfolio support activities, responsible for ensuring effective tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Your support will enable project assurance through consistent application to strategy execution, project management, and delivery processes across the business.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will be joining our Assurance, Integration, and Change team, consisting of professionals leading multiple projects throughout our diverse internal businesses.
This position is offered as a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension.
What will you be doing?
Facilitating relevant program/project progress and performance meetings; supporting the preparation of materials including minutes and agenda distribution.
Support the creation and review of project governance artefacts, such as implementation plans and schedules, project status reporting and closure reports.
Engaging with stakeholders to solicit and share information related to program/projects and explore opportunities to collaborate and seek alignment.
Facilitating adoption of strategic and project management processes, tools and systems through established processes, and the provision of advice and guidance Coordinating, analyzing, tracking, and reporting progress and performance of strategic projects and deliverables.
Assisting with the development and maintenance of reporting metrics, data, and insights.
Tracking and analysis of actual and forecasted costs, projected benefits and resource planning for projects and strategic initiatives portfolio.
Undertaking project health checks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Reviewing processes and completed projects to inform continuous improvement opportunities and assisting in communicating and implementing learnings for future business projects and strategic initiatives.
Supporting iterative enhancements of strategy and project management tools, templates, processes, and documentation.
What are we looking for in you?
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, with strong communication skills.
Experience in the management of project controls and project delivery.
Experience with project management tools and an understanding of project delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Proven ability to thrive in a diverse environment, with evolving priorities and competing deadlines.
Advanced PowerBI and Excel skills desirable.
Experience in governance and assurance reporting desirable.
An understanding of Agile ways of working desirable.
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline desirable.
