Postdoctoral Fellow in Mechanical EngineeringUniversity of New South WalesAustraliaThe Opportunity The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering is seeking a Research Associate. In this role, you will be conducting research both independently and as part of a team on a project titled "Condition Monitoring of Aircraft Propulsion for Automated Diagnostics". Your research will focus on the project's goals to discover and develop new techniques to detect and diagnose anomalies in aeroengine bearings and gears, developing advanced signal processing techniques and models of aircraft engine components.
This position will give you the opportunity to develop your industry research and professional activities. You will also have the opportunity to participate in conferences and workshops, assist with the supervision of students, collaborate with industry partners, and have active engagement with fellow researchers both at UNSW and other institutions.
This role reports to A/Prof Pietro Borghesani and has no direct reports.
