The Project Officer provides governance and briefing support to the Division including supporting the management of secretariat for key decisionmaking groups and coordination of advice to decision makers including the management of the briefing processes within the Division. Skills required for the Policy Officer include the ability to work flexibly and responsively, and to effectively plan and manage their workload to meet deadlines.Develop high-quality and timely advice to senior leadership on precinct policy issues.Draft quality papers, reports, briefings and correspondence.Support decision making through provision of high-quality secretariat functions for governance groups and senior leaders.Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff at all levels including senior members of the organisation, whole-of-government partners and external agencies.Key Selection CriteriaTo be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will excel in communicating with impact by employing clear and concise language tailored to the audience, thereby fostering a deeper understanding of the topic.
