About the ACMA
The work of the ACMA impacts the lives of every Australian - from managing the spectrum that means Australians have access to telecommunications services, to regulating the content Australians consume via radio, TV and streaming services, to providing important safeguards to limit the impact of scams and gambling on Australians.
The work of the ACMA deals with high priority and cutting-edge issues including new technologies, the role of digital platforms and areas of government reform. Any given day at the ACMA is likely to involve:

Connection and collaboration with people in your own team and other teams.
Keeping on top of interesting and fast-moving topics.
Thinking creatively about how to solve problems.
Demonstrating initiative and a pro-active approach.

As a Policy Officer, you will contribute to regulatory policy development, implementation and reform to ensure safeguards remain fit-for-purpose in a rapidly changing media and communications environment.
