THE ROLE: Austrade are looking to fill multiple current and expected roles across the Government and Policy Division.
This includes roles focused on: economic security, including investment and industry policy; international engagement on trade and investment; enabling economic opportunities for our First Nations communities; and net zero transformation.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Draft evidence-based briefing and contribute to analysis and policy advice to the Minister and Austrade Senior Executive regarding Australia's trade and investment interests.Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders and other government agencies.Coordinate and develop input into Austrade reports, briefs, and government inquiries and submissions.Support the Austrade Executive in whole-of-government processes and policy deliberations that impact the business environment and Australia's international trade, investment, education and visitor economy competitiveness.Support events for visiting foreign delegations, outgoing Ministerial travel, business delegations, and events at multilateral forums, as well as activities around the promotion of free-trade agreements.
