About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region.
Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the Newcomb Primary Care Team The Primary Care team incorporates multidisciplinary health professionals from allied health and nursing backgrounds.
This dynamic and high performing team provides services ranging from early intervention through to support of consumers with chronic and complex needs.
About the role As part of Public Health and Primary Care Unit we deliver services to the multi-disciplinary program areas.
The position is responsible for the continuous improvement and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective Podiatry services.
All activities of the position will reflect current best practice standards for Podiatry and support consumers and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence through:
Comprehensive, co-ordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services.Provision of consumer-centred care to community members from a broad range of backgrounds.Contribute to meeting the program and allied health key performance indicators (KPI's).You will also provide teaching, supervision, support and development to less experienced staff and undergraduate students.
