Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LHN) is now accepting applications for a Candidate Pool, to be considered for vacant Podiatry positions (Allied Health Professional Level 1 or 2) that become available over the next 12 months.
This includes any ongoing or temporary, part time/full time vacancies which may arise within the wider Podiatry department.
Positions may be based at our main site in Mount Gambier Hospital or at our community-based sites in Bordertown, Keith, Kingston SE, Millicent, Naracoorte or Penola.
The Podiatry Department and allied health teams within Limestone Coast Local Health Network boasts a young, energetic team focused on improving services for the people of the Limestone Coast.
As a Rural Generalist Podiatrist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services.
To achieve this, you will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors.
You will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches.
We provide health care services within the Mount Gambier, Bordertown, Kingston, Lucindale, Millicent, Naracoorte, and Penola areas.
Our smaller community-based sites are focused on providing quality care, closer to home.
Clients will be seen in an outpatient setting and come with a wide range of clinical presentations.
We are continually seeking talented individuals to join our team.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews as opportunities arise.
About You You must hold a recognised qualification in Podiatry and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience is preferred.
Our team is supported by an Advanced Clinical Lead Podiatrist with significant experience in the areas of high-risk foot management and diabetes as well as musculoskeletal, and paediatrics who supports junior staff members.
You will be committed to client-centred practice and community engagement in the provision of services, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care.
Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will equip you to work positively within a team and develop effective working relationships.
