This position will play a pivotal? role in driving organisational growth and achieving strategic ?goals and will work closely with senior leadership to align project goals with the organisation's strategic objectives and will bring thought leadership in project management practices tat SG Fleet.YOUR DAYS WILL INVOLVE… The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Strategic Planning - Continuously review and align the technology portfolio with the strategic goals of the organisation
Framework Development - Design and implement a PMO operating model that supports project management and enables consistent, transparent and disciplined delivery, including processes, policies, ?procedures and templates
Project ?Governance - Provide governance and oversight across the portfolio, from project initiation to closure
Performance Measurement - Monitor and track project performance metrics to ensure adherence to timelines, budget and quality standards.
Communicate project progress accurately to enable effective decision-making
Continuous Improvement - Regularly assessing the? PMO's effectiveness, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions to ensure the PMO stays up-to-date ?with industry best practices and? supports the organisation's evolving needs.
Conduct regular reviews of project outcomes to identify lessons learned and improve future project performance
Resource Planning.
Own the resource demand and supply planning through maintaining an accurate heat map for both technology and business personnel involved in project delivery
Financial Management.
Review monthly project financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide accurate variance reporting at project, program and portfolio level.
Assist the Head of Solution Delivery in developing annual budgets Essential Demonstrates the capability to lead, coach and mentor high performing teams, through building relationships and collaboration with business stakeholders Significant experience as a PMO Manager on technology portfolios with IT team sizes of at least 40 people Extensive experience in using JIRA and Confluence to support project delivery Thorough understanding of portfolio governance and project delivery methodologies, tools, and techniques, including P3M and Agile PMO Proficiency in risk management and strategic planning Strong financial management and reporting capabilities supported by critical thinking and attention to detail Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to represent complex information in a simple and meaningful way Strong analytical and problem solving skills Business acumen.
Desirable Experience in the financial services industry.
