What does the job look like? Linfox's Retail business unit is seeking experienced transport professionals to join our team at Kemps Creek, in partnership with one of Australia's leading retailers. As a Shift Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting our site and network by overseeing allocations, route planning, and dispatching deliveries. This is a permanent full-time position offering a balanced 3-day on, 2-day off, 2-day on, 3-day off roster, with shifts from 5 pm to 5 am.
Key Areas: Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions and fostering positive relationships. Maintain precise documentation and records related to manifests, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements. Ensure customers are well-informed about their scheduled deliveries and promptly communicate any changes that may affect them. Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally represent Linfox. Adhere to and promote Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements at all times. Are you the one? We are looking for seasoned transport professionals with experience in labour planning, routing, and allocation. We offer comprehensive training and support for the ideal candidate. You should be able to demonstrate:
Experience in transport, warehousing, or supply chain operations. Intermediate computer proficiency, particularly with MS Excel. Strong geographical knowledge of the Sydney metro area. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
