How you'll make an impact
To assist in the management of the platform investments offer.
The role will have a specific focus on our regulatory reporting obligations (e.g.
APRA and DDO reporting), but will also include wider business support as it relates to investment change activities, the provision of reports to various stakeholders, and providing support for various projects where necessary.
Main Focus Areas:
Support the delivery of strategic objectives of the team in relation to effective governance of the platform investment offers through:Data analytics to support business and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g.
APRA reporting, DDO etc) Assistance with various investment related activities covering the platform investments range Managing stakeholder queries as it relates to our investment monitoring program Coordinating change management activities, including investment option reviews and approvals Liaising with stakeholders for the provision of research data to support our investment monitoring and reporting requirements Provide data analytics and navigate the investment frameworks of NM Super (superannuation trustee) and NMMT (platform operator and responsible entity) to support regulatory obligations and business decisions.
Support risk management and compliance by contributing to the resolution of incidents and breaches relating to the platform investments, the documentation and maintenance of key process maps and obligations, and maintaining all relevant controls in risk and compliance strategic systems.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:
Relevant qualifications within economics or finance are essential with advanced or post graduate study advantageous.
Experience with superannuation and/or investment products, with an understanding of investment concepts.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and comfortably deal with change (marketplace and business).
Demonstrates a sound understanding of risk frameworks, systems, and controls.
Strong understanding of investments, fund managers and investment operations and ability to critically evaluate and analyse the impacts from investment reports and change activities.
Ability to make sound and justifiable recommendations and the confidence to present those recommendations to investment committees if required.
Effective cross functional stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Strong investment analytics, modelling, and implementation skills.
Strong Excel & PowerBI skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets is critical.
SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
Ability to contribute to reports and committee papers.
High attention to detail.
