Council is seeking a highly motivated Plant Operator/Labourer to join their Rural Operations team.
You will operate Road Rollers (Steel Drum & Multi-Tyred - over 8 tonne), while undertaking road building duties in a rural environment.
You will also be required to undertake general civil construction labouring duties including, but not limited to, pipe laying, concreting, level-checking, bitumen/road works and compaction using vibrating plate.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for Extensive experience operating a Road Roller, working in rural areas. Construction Industry Induction (White Card). Demonstrated attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team with a Safety-First attitude. Desirable ticketed and experienced for "HR" Class licence or higher.
