Chandler Macleod is seeking a Plant Operator to support the team at Baiada, Tamworth.
Immediate start AM shift - Tuesday to SaturdayTamworth location Saturday penalties + allowancesPerform equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performanceAbout the role In your new role of Plant Operator, you will conduct the following:
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performanceForklift operationMonitor production processes and adjust equipment as needed to maintain efficiencyAdhere to health and safety regulations, including personal protective equipment requirementsFollow company protocols for handling and disposing of waste materialsAbout you As a Plant Operator within a large organisation, you will bring:
A Forklift license and experience in forklift operation is essentialProven experience performing plant maintenance in a manufacturing or processing environment, preferably in the poultry or food industryIntermediate computer skills are essential and knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems is preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot plant equipment issuesAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentExcellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and independentlyFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as neededHow to Apply Click APPLY or contact the Baiada Team on 02 6762 9 and @chandlermacleod.com for a confidential discussion.
