If you're looking for a company that values your contributions and invests in your professional growth, WEM is the place for you.WEM Civil has a rewarding opportunity for Plant Operators to join the team including Excavator Operators, Dump Truck Operators, Grader Operators and Scraper Operators.We have a strong portfolio of projects currently underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, as well as the Hunter and Illawarra regions.
This role will require travel to job sites, located within these regions.Key Responsibilities:Plant Operations: Ability to operate machinery such as Excavators, Dump Trucks, Graders or Scrapers with precision and efficiency.Machine Maintenance: Conduct daily maintenance checks, including oil levels and greasing.Clean & Tidy Equipment: Ensure the machine is kept clean and well-organised at all times.Assist with other site duties as needed to ensure project timelines are met.We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:Demonstrated experience operating one or more of the following machines: Excavators, Dump Trucks, Graders or Scrapers.Understanding of machinery operations within the civil construction industry.Capability to perform daily maintenance and servicing of machinery.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team.A construction white card.Valid Driver's Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites.Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards.A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative.Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.WEM Civil Team Benefits:Competitive Pay: Wage aligned with your experience + allowances + regular overtime + upon successful completion of probation, you are offered a fuel card of $600 per month.Tools of the Trade: Access to the latest technology and equipment to help you work efficiently and productively.Wellbeing Support: Access to our Employee Assistance Program to support your mental health and wellbeing.Financial Incentives: Paid income protection insurance and a $1,000 reward for every successful referral through our employee referral program.Unlimited Paid Wet Weather Days: If weather conditions prevent work, you'll still receive your base wage for your ordinary hours - no limits.Community Partnerships: Partnerships with the Black Dog Institute and Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation to give back to our community.Connect & Celebrate: Frequent social and team events, Site BBQs, recognition programs and team celebrations that value our people.Growth: Endless career opportunities, ongoing training, mentoring and development to help you progress.Additional Information:Applicants should submit a current resume.Applicants are required to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol screening, as a prerequisite for this position to ensure they can safely perform the duties of the role.Applicants must be authorised to work in Australia and reside in the geographic area relevant to the position.WEM Civil is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual is valued and empowered to thrive.As a Champion of Employment for Women in Civil in partnership with the CCF, we actively encourage applications from women and individuals of all backgrounds to join our team.Ready to advance your career?
