About the role Based in WondaiPermanent Full Time$65K - $68K per annum + Allowances + SuperCouncil is seeking a Plant Operator to provide high quality specialist operation of Council's grader and other plant/equipment. This position will work under remote supervision and supervise a team of employees in the absence of the site supervisor/team leader. Duties also include maintaining and servicing plant/vehicles on a daily basis, reading and interpreting basic plans, performing general labouring and undertaking traffic control. The successful applicant will have proven experience in the operation of a Grader to achieve final trim tolerance and standards on road construction and maintenance works, as well as knowledge of road maintenance, sound literacy/numeracy skills, and ability to complete assigned tasks on time.
