North Burnett Regional Council is currently seeking an experienced and ticketed plant operator to join the multi-skilled, close-knit Civil Construction team based in Biggenden.
This role is responsible for the construction of new Council, Private and Main Roads works, maintenance of existing services and structures in connection with roads and footpaths, drainage and other functions of Council.
About you You will have demonstrated labouring experience in a similar role, with the ability to operate various plant/equipment relevant to construction and maintenance of roads, including traffic control procedures, kerb and gutter, footpath, concrete drainage, etc.
You will be an effective and positive team member with the ability to work within a high-performing team who are focused and dedicated to safe work practices.
To be successful in this role you will have: Possess a Work Safe in the Construction Industry Induction Certificate (White Card).Ability to work in a physically demanding and often noisy environment.Please refer to the Position Description for additional requirements.
