Plant Manager - Townsville

The role Adbri Masonry currently has an opportunity for a Plant Manager to join our team looking after our Townsville production facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is your opportunity to become an integral team member at one of Australia's leading construction materials producers.
With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, you will lead by example and foster an organisational culture of integrity, commitment and pride within your small, close-knit team. This role will provide you with the scope to deliver important short and long-term improvements, which are critical for our ongoing growth and profitability of the business.

Responsibilities Promote and lead a safe working environmentProvide management and site/plant guidance and leadershipPlan, schedule and deliver quality products to market in a timely mannerManage and control raw materials/finished goods ensuring the business unit meets budgetary requirementAdminister and manage all reporting via SAP business systemStrong people management skills with the ability to lead staff, allocate tasks, coach, monitor and mentorAbility to engage teams to create a can-do attitude and CI expectationAbility to work effectively unsupervised, while also able to lead and work within a team environmentCompliance to all training requirements/managementGood communication processes through team communication meetings/toolbox meetingsWhat you will need to succeed Experience in managing a manufacturing/production facilityStrong leadership, administration and communications skillsSelf-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making abilityBe able to identify opportunities for improved operational efficienciesExcellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalOur business Adbri Masonry is Australia's leading concrete products manufacturer supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products and architectural masonry solutions.
