Renowned as PNG's premier steel fabrication and building company, our client specialises in civil infrastructure, commercial construction, steel fabrication, and motor transport engineering. Their Corporate Division are currently seeking their next Plant & Hire Manager who is ready to relocate and work in PNG. This position will see you based in Lae, Papua New Guinea. This is not a FIFO position and will require you to relocate to PNG.

Your role includes overseeing team performance, managing the maintenance of the construction equipment and vehicles, ensuring accurate maintenance logs are maintained, and timely completion of required repairs and preventative maintenance works.
Qualifications and Experience:Relevant Trade qualification – heavy equipment fitting or mechanicalManagement and administration experience in running a medium-sized department, including the maintenance control section.Demonstrated experience in mentoring and training staff.Knowledgeable in hydraulics, particularly in cranes and earthmoving equipment, as well as modern "electronics over hydraulics" pneumatics control systems.Ability to perform diagnostic analysis of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems of all light and heavy machinery, plant and equipment.Occupation Health & Safety (OHS) practitioner;Strong computer literacy, with the ability to use spreadsheets for analysis and reporting purposes.If you are experienced and seeking your next long-term career opportunity, now is the time to apply, or Call Izzy Ferrada at 0420 727 200 or email ******.
