Macmahon is looking for a vibrant and driven Plant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
This role is all about supporting the operations division and making a real impact.
About the role Reporting to the Senior Accountant the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Maintaining the Asset Register including Capital Work in Progress.Plant finance and administration - accounting procedures related to various operations.Preparing monthly depreciation and plant reports including analysis for monthly actuals compared to budget.Reconciliation of PPE roll forward monthly.Reconciliation of Capital Works in Progress through capitalisation of major assets and respective components.Report on Capex spend for the Company and provide analysis report for month end report pack.Responsible for inventory accounting regarding reconciliations, stock takes and adjustments.Provide support to business unit managers in preparation of the Plant and inventory budgets.Assist in half-year and year-end Financial Audits.About you 5-10 years in accounting, ideally with medium-sized public companies.Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting.SAP experience is desirable.Intermediate Excel skills and keen attention to detail.Experience in the mining and resource sector is a plus.Employee benefits Free parking.Incredible staff gym, fitness classes, personal trainers onsite.Dedicated lifestyle, financial and mental health support.Salary sacrifice options for flights, vehicles, airport parking and so much more.Access to a wide range of employee discounts with Macmahon retail, vehicle, insurance, and banking partners.Ongoing career development opportunities to "Challenge.
