Salary Range: $92,332 - $104,762

About the role: The Planning Officer will play a key role in the delivery of projects related to Statewide and regional planning.
The position will also contribute to the strategic coordination of broader project management and reporting (and other ad hoc reporting as required) across the Regional and Statewide plans team. 
To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team member with sound project experience and systems thinking skills; complemented by strong communication – written and verbal and problem solving You will also have experience and the ability to work flexibly to respond to a range of emerging issues and evolving priorities.

How you'll make a difference: Supporting the development of high quality analysis, authoritative advice and sound recommendations based on consistent evidence-based approaches to planning for the future mental health and wellbeing system.Monitoring and reporting on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met. Supporting effective working relationships and the flow of information across the department and with key external stakeholders.Supporting cross-functional engagement on matters relating to system planning to enable delivery of departmental policies and reforms. Contribute to the development and maintenance of multi-level stakeholder engagement strategies, processes and projects to support the effective implementation of reforms.Adhere to quality control mechanisms to ensure completeness and accuracy of presentation and delivery of information and events.Under direction, undertake and contribute to complex projects and contribute to the preparation of briefs, submissions, correspondence and reports on a range of sensitive issues.To learn more please click 'Apply' to view the Position Description on the Careers.vic website.
