In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will support the Planning and Controlling activities for the Passenger Car business unit to drive value by supporting business priorities and delivering financial insights to enable business growth and cost optimisation.
Development of operative planning and target commitments (including P&L and Balance Sheet)Working and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including senior management and business units, to deliver business objectives related to Passenger Car Pricing, Discounts, Cost of Sales, Stock and Reporting decisionsActively monitor results against targets (including profit analysis), assess risks and opportunities, provide recommendations and challenge financial decision-making.Build clear, concise data models to analyse complex data sets, and reporting/presentation tools to support and enable effective business partneringUndertaking of special analysis and investigations to improve business performance by increasing revenues and optimising costDrive change, transformation and continuous process improvement within Controlling by focusing on simplifying our business with improved ways of workingPrepare presentations and provide recommendations to senior management, including developing and reporting key performance indicatorsSupport and influence key operational and strategic decisions by offering trusted adviceWhat we are looking for A self-starter with strong time management and attention to detail skills, influencing and lateral problem solving abilities, who has the ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.Minimum two years experience in management or financial accounting with a strong understanding of operational drivers of financial performance and ability to demonstrate sound commercial acumen.Degree qualified in a business, commerce or finance discipline and be CA / CPA qualified or working towards it.Advanced Excel skillsExperience within SAP and Power BI would be highly regardedWhy you should apply: Join a large, global organisation dedicated to inclusivity and diversity.Join a high performing trusted team committed to the professional and personal development of team membersOn-site parking and childcare centres only minutes away!Access to a competitive company vehicle lease program, on-site gym and more.To express your interest in this position, please submit a Cover Letter and CV as soon as possible (or by latest COB Monday 28th October).
