Working as part of the Planning and Environmental Health team, the Planning Business Support Officer will be instrumental in providing administrative and customer service support for the team.
What a typical day will look like; Provide department-wide administrative support in order for Council to carry out its statutory obligations and service delivery with respect to planning and health legislation.
Play a key role in maintaining an effective and successful planning approvals and health service for Nillumbik by delivering efficient, customer-focused service and high-quality administrative support for various unit functions.
Enhance the department's operational efficiency by providing strong internal communication, excellent customer service, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What you will bring to the role; Certificate in office administration or similar, and/or previous experience in office administration and customer service.
Highly developed time and organisational skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently, with initiative and effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal, written, spelling and grammar.
