With a , this role is based in Melbourne or Ballarat and is part of the Environmental Planning & Approvals Team This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Demonstrate understanding of work health safety and cyber security standards, applying them in the workplace. Ensure compliance by engaging with stakeholders and staying updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and Ausnet policies. Collaborate actively to share insights, lessons learned, and successes with others. Foster culture change through a "Listen, Learn and Act" approach to employee feedback, aligning with Ausnet's Values. Provide technical environmental advice on complex issues within regulatory frameworks and approvals processes. Work autonomously on environmental matters, solving complex issues with design and other teams. Lead meetings and workshops with multidisciplinary teams and consultants. Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and environmental interest groups. You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Planning Experience in a similar role Provision of sound environmental advice as part of major projects Experience in environmental assessment and approval processes Provision of excellent customer service and build strong relationships with the client, colleagues and delivery partners. Stakeholder engagement skills and experience in community consultation Excellent attention to detail
