About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join our safety-focused Ammonia/AN maintenance team.
You will be involved in scoping, resourcing, and scheduling maintenance on cutting-edge assets to achieve performance standards and meet customer requirements. This will include normal running maintenance on a number of large process plants as well as planned minor/major turnarounds. You will enjoy providing excellent customer service and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include: Prioritise safety for self and others in all practices and promote a strong safety culture.Develop work packs for execution by mechanical technical specialists, including work scopes, resources, parts, and labour.Development of maintenance plans and work schedules.Ensure all work is planned and completed in accordance with relevant regulatory and ethical standards.Monitor and review programmed maintenance work orders.Review and update equipment data and parts listings as required.Identify improvement opportunities for plant reliability, maintenance processes, and breakdowns.Skills and experience you will have: Hold a trade certificate, ideally in Mechanical Fitting (Cert III or Cert IV).5 years' experience working within a Maintenance Planning role.Demonstrated experience in the use of computer-based planning packages and work order systems (JDE, SAP, etc.).Experience with Scheduling Packages, i.e., Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Experience within Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas is desirable.Experience with Microsoft Solutions (Excel, Word, etc.).Knowledge of maintenance procedures and engineering drawings/standards.Ability to build and establish positive working relationships.Why WesCEF We are committed to building an engaged and talented workforce that is representative of the people who live in the communities where we operate. WesCEF operates across multiple locations, with our two major hubs being in Kwinana and Murdoch. We're excited to share that our Murdoch office will be relocating to Perth CBD in late 2025. This role will be based in Kwinana.
