About this position The City is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Planner to join the Development Services team.
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about positively influencing the built environment, have sound statutory planning knowledge, a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and a desire to learn.
The salary range will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
What we are looking for To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate:
Sound knowledge (Level 5) and/or demonstrated comprehensive knowledge (Level 6) of land use planning and development control and relevant legislation.Good understanding of the importance of design in the planning process (Level 6).Strong organisational and customer service skills.Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Effective report writing skills (Level 6).Demonstrated experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
Current driver's licenceCurrent National Police Clearance (no older than three months).
