About the Project - SA WaterIn a JV with Guidera O'Connor, John Holland is delivering capital projects for SA Water under a four-year framework agreement for up to $500m, focused on water services across southern metropolitan Adelaide and regional areas of South Australia. JHGO's scope of work encompasses a diverse range of portfolios, including Water South, Major Projects, External and Strategic projects. 
About the RoleThe SA Water Capital Delivery Program team are currently looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Planner to join the team, based in the Corporate SA Water project office, in Adelaide CBD. Reporting into the Planning Manager, the successful candidate will assist in various aspects of construction planning to support the project delivery. We have just received a four-year extension to the original contract, and the project will run until July 2028.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using P6 and MSP.Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates to project schedules.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Identify and address issues proactively, ensuring project momentum and timelines are maintained.Collaborate with design teams, project teams, partners, clients, stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to manage the planning function and drive key outcomes.Conduct regular site visits to enhance understanding of project details and build relationships with site-based staff. Work as part of the SA Water JHGO planning and delivery teamSupport Project Managers in report interpretation of project monitoring systems, particularly focussing on time, cost, resources & quality (project controls & earned value). Manage multiple tasks with a high level of responsibility.To be successful in this key role, you must have:A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Planner position is preferredTertiary degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines - Engineering, Construction, Building or Project Management or equivalent experience.Experience in project planning and control, preferably in construction.Ability to use planning software & tools such as P6, MSP.Ability to use visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel is desirableStrong organisational and communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.What's in it for you when you join John Holland?Competitive remuneration with salary continuance, and salary sacrifice packaging options available.
