Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Planner to play a key role in our Engineering and Construction department.
Working in our office in Brisbane office within the Pre-Contracts team in a nutshell this role is responsible for upfront early planning of our construction projects.
For the role you'll need the ability to contribute to the constructability studies and present installation methodologies to our stakeholders is key.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
Produce and manage tender programme in Primavera P6 according to the scope of works, client expectation, project objectives and deliverables.Hands-on planning preparation, in conjunction with Project Team, optimise working programme to meet project objectives covering design, procurement, enabling, construction, commissioning, handover, and client key dates as appropriate.Capture and analyse project information (e.g.
critical path, resource histograms, cost forecasting).Work with Project Team to resolve logic errors, help explain options of design impact on program, and update programme according to actions taken by the tender review.Present information for internal meetings on the projectProduce tender plans to support bidsAnalysing qualitative or quantitative data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for action regarding planning/schedulingAssist the Project Manager in compiling major project plans and execution schedules on behalf of the ProjectPlans and/or schedules other individuals or resources to meet project requirementsEstablishing client relationships, making group presentations and communicating effectively with site personnelCoordinating and developing detailed construction schedules and project plansReview planning and scheduling documentation to identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the project execution team What you will bring Tertiary degree within Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture or Project Management.Proven experience with resources related multi-discipline scopes and tendering Previous experience using Primavera (P6) project planning toolExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levelsYou acquire a methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work and meeting deadlinesAbility to contribute and influence continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing delivery methods for your project partners Life at Monadelphous We celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
