HR+ Tasmania is a Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) and registered NDIS Provider which supports Tasmanian communities with primary health workforce planning and through delivery of support coordination and plan management to NDIS participants across Tasmania.
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Plan Management Officer (Invoice Support) to join our NDIS Plan Management Team on a full-time basis (part time considered for the right candidate).
The Position:As a Plan Management Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional financial support to NDIS participants.
Your day-to-day tasks will include: Managing budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments.Providing remittances and monthly reports to clients and their providers.Setting up new participant profiles, reviewing existing ones, and entering Service Agreements.Troubleshooting issues related to payments and continuously improving our processes.Responding to enquiries from participants and providers and acting as the initial point of contact when required.Maintaining accurate data records and working closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the program.To be successful in this role, you will need: A demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge, including learning and applying new systems.Strong interpersonal skills, such as engaging positively with people from diverse backgrounds, acting with empathy, handling conflict resolution effectively, and working collaboratively as part of a team.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines while staying composed under pressure.A high degree of efficiency in data entry, with accuracy and adherence to established procedures.Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute with 98% accuracy.Advanced computer literacy and experience in an office or similar environment.The ability to work autonomously, using initiative with minimal supervision.Knowledge of or experience with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will be highly regarded.You will need to provide a WWVP clearance. This position is a Risk-Assessed role under the NDIS guidelines and will require a NDIS endorsement to be applied to your WWVP Clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
The Organisation: HR+ is a not-for-profit incorporated association contracted by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to recruit and retain general practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities. Our organisation is one of seven Rural Workforce Agencies funded by the Australian Government nationally. HR+ also delivers the Health Workforce Scholarship Program and is a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management.
The HR+ main office is in Launceston and the successful candidate will undertake training in this office (duration dependent on experience) with a view to ongoing work from a Devonport location.
