About the role The Eastern Health Physiotherapy Student Clinical Educator is responsible for the co-ordination and management of the undergraduate Physiotherapy Learning and Teaching programs across all Eastern Health sites.
The incumbent will liaise with key personnel at the relevant Universities, Campus Clinical Co-ordinators, the Eastern Health Physiotherapy Professional Management Team and the Eastern Health Associate Director, Learning and Teaching- Pre-registration Program, to ensure all governance and clinical requirements of the Physiotherapy Student program are met in accordance with the terms of the collaboration agreement between Eastern Health and the Education Providers and the requirements and recommendations of the Department of Health.

Recognised tertiary qualification in PhysiotherapyCurrent registration with the Physiotherapy Board of AustraliaEligibility for practicing membership of the Australian Physiotherapy AssociationSignificant knowledge and experience in providing supervision, mentoring and support to learnersDemonstrated organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detailExperience in the provision and support of clinical educationexperience of quality improvement, research processes and commitment to achieving best practice professional clinical standardsDemonstrated Clinical Leadership with the demonstrated ability to inspire, influence and motivate staff and to contribute to and foster a positive learning cultureAdvanced interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, leadership and conflict management, in order to facilitate effective team functioningPlease refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.
